Hose Reels can be supplied with or without hose as well as additional fittings such as spray and filling nozzles. A major advantage of having your hose reel fully assembled by Buckley Industrial is that the complete assembly can be tested using our highly advanced Hose Inspection & Testing facilities before being put into service. This will ensure there are no leaks from joints between the hose and the reel as well as reassuring our customers that the full assembly is fit for purpose.
The components on nearly all of the Hose Reels supplied by Buckley Industrial can be varied, tailoring the unit to best suit customer requirements. This includes offering the reel with either spring or manual rewind functions and changing the position of the roller arm to allow a wide range of mounting options.
Spring-powered rewind reels
Spring-powered rewind reels will automatically rewind without needing a power source. The operator simply needs to guide the hose or cord as it self-retracts and wraps around the drum.
Manual rewind hose reels.
Also supplied are a wide range of manual rewind hose reels. The direct crank uses a handle attached to the drum and one turn of the handle simply produces one rune of the drum. These direct manual crank hose reels can handle up to 60m of hose, it’s possible to have more, especially so for a thinner hose.
This method is very practical, as well as economical – it’s also great for long hose applications where no power is available. this method can however be physically taxing for the individual – as well as time-consuming.

Portable hose reels
In addition to the spring and manual rewind crank options, there is also a supply for a wide range of portable hose reels. They function well in the harshest of conditions, offering a clean and non-corrosive performance in applications such as food and chemical processing. offshore marinas and areas wherever rust and corrosion are likely.
When in motion, all the weight of the reel and hose is directly over the axle, this saves on labour and takes much less effort to move hose and reel from one site to the next.

Barrier Tape Reel
We have begun to stock a new barrier tape reel which allows areas to easily be cordoned off for maintenance. It’s available in black, yellow or red, white woven and heavy duty fabric.
We find customers often want to purchase them and mount them permanently on the specific location to be cordoned off. Others want to keep a small number in the maintenance area and mount them on an ad -hoc basis, mounting them when carrying out repairs or maintenance.
Barrier tape is ideally suited to industrial and commercial situations where safety barriers are required to stop people from entering unsafe or prohibited areas.
The reels can be mounted on the wall very easily. The tape that can be pulled across the area in question and hooked onto the opposite wall. The tap can be easily and quickly retracted when access is required. It can also be installed in areas that need cordoning off for maintenance or wherever access must be denied.
Reels also come with a metal ring that can be hooked onto another side. They can also be equipped with a new patented slow-motion system at an additional cost, which allows for a sage and controlled rewinding of tape.
