What is ISO 9001?
ISO 9001 is an internationally recognised Quality Management System (QMS) standard that governs the operation of an organisation including production, management and service delivery systems. An effective QMS ensures an organisation operates according to robust, resilient and continually improving systems and procedures, crucial to producing and offering high quality products and services.
To gain this certification a complete audit of all business processes was undertaken by an external auditor (CCAS) and carefully documented, consolidating the creation of an integrated management system. The process includes regular quality reviews and continuous improvement programmes.
