The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Hose and Coupling Engineer to join our growing team, spending approximately 60% of the time working in-house at our premises on the Wirral with the remainder of the time at customers sites located all over the UK.
Core Responsibilities
In-house
- Work in all production areas within the workshop
- Control of goods in/goods out
- Carrying out plant maintenance including calibration of key equipment
- Production of CAD drawings
Customer sites
- Supporting External Engineering Manager on hose asset management work
- Using asset management software
- Hose identification, inspection and testing
Skills

This is a physical role that will require a good level of fitness
Qualifications
- level of computer aided design (CAD) literacy
- Good level of IT literacy

The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an external salesperson to join our growing team, working on a nationwide basis. This role is pivotal to the successful growth of the Company’s customer base across the country. Previous experience of working in the hose and coupling industry would be hugely advantageous, whilst proven B2B sales experience is a must.
Core Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow sales within existing customer base.
- Develop new customer relationships across the UK.
- Promote new products and services.
- Handle customer enquiries including quotations.
- Prepare professional quotations and proposals.
- Follow up all sales leads, enquiries and quotations.
- Provide input to marketing activity to promote existing and new products.
- Attend relevant exhibitions where required to showcase company products.
Key Skills
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Previous experience of successfully working towards sales targets.
- Highly self-motivated.
- Proven time management and organisation skills.
- Holds a full clean UK driving licence.
Salary: up to £40,000 pa
Bonus: up to 20% of basic salary
Company car or car allowance
Working hours: 08.15 – 16.45 Monday – Friday
Location: home based (preferably North West based)
